People who Lost in the City
In the recent series People Who Lost in the City, the artist uses clothing and objects collected in public spaces to create works that explore a sense of loss and loneliness in urban life. Wei’s practice is marked by a focus on the relationship between people and the environment, also expressing the psychological and emotional states of people in space. Wei pays particular attention to the events that occur in a unique space in the context of our era, as well as a certain emotional idiosyncrasy now.
